As you know, we are facing difficult decisions and circumstances, due to the rapid spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, which is affecting communities worldwide. Today, the UK government strongly urged people not to travel, or gather in groups, unless it's essential.
Of course, this has an impact on yoga classes. Our workshop venue, East Finchley's Iyengar Yoga Studio, is closing until further notice, and we have to cancel or postpone the workshops we have planned for the next few weeks.
Kate Rathod's workshop on 29 March will definitely not go ahead on this date, and we think it also unlikely that Darren Bloom's workshop on 3 May will be possible. We hope to reschedule these events, as soon as we have more certainty about the situation. As far as our other planned events go, we can only wait and see. So, please keep the dates in your diary, but delay booking until you hear from us about which workshops are happening.
COVID-19 updates and advice can be found on the websites for Public Health England, the NHS, and the World Health Organization.
In the meantime, wash your hands thoroughly and often, be kind, limit your intake of distressing news, and practise yoga.
